The annual AGLCA Fall Rendezvous is returning to Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville, AL for 2023!

REGISTRATION PROCESS

The Fall Rendezvous is typically the AGLCA's most popular event of the year and the demand for this event will far exceed the facility's capacity.  Therefore, there are special procedures in place to ensure they maximize use of the available marina slips, lodge rooms, and meeting space.  Please read the details below and pay special attention to how registration will work. The registration process for the Fall Rendezvous will be different than in previous years and will open in phases.  Attendees cannot reserve both a slip AND a lodge room so please register in the appropriate phase (outlined below) based on your accommodation preference.

PHASE ONE:  FOR THOSE NEEDING A MARINA SLIP

REGISTRATION OPENS:   Monday, August 7th @ 12 noon eastern 

REGISTRATION FEE:  $445/person

Phase One will open on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 12:00 noon eastern and be open through Wednesday, August 9th or until slips are sold out, whichever comes first.  Only those needing a marina slip will be able to register during Phase One.  If you register during this phase and you DO NOT need a slip, your ticket will be refunded, not rolled to the lodge or any other accommodation preference.  You will have to register again when registration opens for Phase Two.

Slips are limited at Joe Wheeler and we want to ensure In Progress Loopers coming by boat have the first chance to register since the Route Sessions are a priority for them.  It's also important that we have boats confirmed so we are able to hold the Looper Crawls which are such a vital part of the Rendezvous for those still in the planning stages. Please be assured all tickets will not sell out in this phase since there are limited slips and the number of registrants coming by boat will not equate to a sold-out event.

During the registration process, you will be required to provide your boat information and arrival and departure dates.  This information will then be forwarded to the marina so your slip can be reserved.  Within a week or so of registering, the marina will contact you directly to confirm your reservation.  Please be patient while you wait to hear from them.  The marina will not accept a reservation directly from you because AGLCA must confirm you are a Rendezvous attendee before the marina will reserve a slip for you.  Slips will be filled on a first come, first served basis until all slips are filled.  Slips usually fill up within a day or two of registration opening. 

PHASE TWO:  FOR THOSE NOT NEEDING A MARINA SLIP

REGISTRATION OPENS:  Thursday, August 10th @ 12 noon eastern 

REGISTRATION FEE:  $445/person

Phase Two will open on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 at 12:00 noon eastern for everyone not needing a boat slip.  Those wanting a lodge room at Joe Wheeler can then register in this phase, as can those who are planning to reserve accommodations elsewhere or anchor.  (Tickets will still be available for those wanting a slip if slips do not sell out in Phase One or there will be a waitlist for those still wanting to register needing a marina slip.) 

During the registration process, you will indicate your accommodation preference (or alternate accommodation preference if you wish to be added to the slip waitlist if one is available).  If you indicate you would like a lodge room, your name will be passed along to the lodge and you will be asked to wait at least 24 business hours before calling them to make your reservation.  This gives the lodge time to get your name on the approved AGLCA list so you can make a reservation.  The lodge will not accept a reservation from you unless they know you are a registered attendee, confirmed by AGLCA.  Your registration confirmation will contain further details about contacting the lodge.
