During the summer months in the Florida Keys, the islands transform into a haven for those who seek the sun, sea and a slice of maritime paradise. It's a time when the pace slows, the streets buzz with energy, and the ocean becomes a playground for adventurers and relaxation seekers alike. The Perry Hotel & Marina, located on Stock Island, invites boaters to celebrate the summer season in the Keys.

The Perry Marina: Your Gateway to Summer Adventures

As the largest deep-water marina in the Florida Keys, The Perry Marina is more than just a place to dock your boat. It's a community—home to a unique culture and a renowned local history. With 228 slips accommodating vessels up to 300', it caters to an eclectic array of boats and boaters. With every reservation, boaters receive access to essential services such as dockage, water, and pump-out, alongside amenities like clean and private bathhouses, a modern laundry facility, and a private Captain's Lounge. The marina ensures a seamless experience with 24-hour security, code-protected gates, complimentary Wi-Fi, and two spacious dog parks. Moreover, guests can indulge in the full spectrum of The Perry Hotel's offerings, including two swimming pools, dockside dining, a 24-hour fitness center, and shuttle service to downtown Key West.

Dine by the Water's Edge

The Perry's on-site dining options shine brighter in the summer months, with Matt's Stock Island Kitchen & Bar and Salty Oyster Dockside Bar & Grill offering the freshest catch against the backdrop of marina views. A local hot spot has also returned to Key West at The Perry Hotel & Marina with a larger menu and full bar: Bad Boy Taqueria & Tequila. The season also brings live music to the forefront, turning every meal into an experience that captures the lively spirit of a Florida Keys' summer.

Epic Fishing Awaits

Summer in the Keys is synonymous with fishing, and The Perry offers direct access to some of the best spots in the Gulf. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a novice eager to cast your line, the marina's location and facilities serve as your gateway to deep-sea excursions, tarpon tournaments, and serene flats fishing. The thrill of the catch is complemented by the ease of returning to the comfort of The Perry, where your catch can be celebrated and savored.

Explore More This Summer

Beyond the marina, Key West & Stock Island are abundant with in activities that embrace the summer vibe, from snorkeling to exploring historical sites like the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum and Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. Golf cart rentals offer a unique way to navigate the island, while dolphin watching and sandbar hopping provide the ultimate island experience. Each day promises a new adventure, set against the backdrop of stunning sunsets and lively streets.

For boaters seeking a blend of adventure and relaxation, The Perry Hotel & Marina stands unmatched. It's not just the facilities that make The Perry special; it's the sense of community and the endless possibilities waiting to be discovered.

From The Waterway Guide Community

"I live-aboard here on Coconut Row. Outstanding community of live aboards who all enjoy the amenities of the entire marina (including free hourly downtown shuttle service--you can get dropped off/picked up at grocery store, doctor, etc). Gym, 2 pools, 3 bars (each with own happy hour that don't conflict with each other), full mail and package services, laundry and clean showers. We've been here 2 years and have compared alot of Keys marinas...none come even close."

"We stopped here overnight on our way to Tortuga. This is now my Key West marina. It has several dining options, pools with a bar, hammocks, green spaces, and is just pretty."
