Noteworthy:

This is a city marina that is very well run. Mike and Will (part-time each dockmasters) were terrific to work with. While this may be far up the river for most cruisers, we found the ride through Blue Hill Bay and Union River Bay to be beautiful. The entrance to channel shallows at low tied, so it is best to come in on a rising or mid-tide. The town is awesome with a plethora of restaurants, great cooking store, shops, etc. Plus, you can walk about a mile to great grocery, LLBean Outlet, Laundromat and a terrific diner (Martha's). Expect 10' tides here and it is not for boats larger than 50', but dock and moorings handle a few locals in the 35'+ range. Wonderful staff and wonderful town. We were so glad we came.
