The Coast Guard has temporarily modified the operating schedule that governs the Indiantown Road Drawbridge, across the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AICW), mile 1006.2, at Jupiter, Florida. The Indiantown Road Drawbridge will operate per drawbridge operation regulation 33 CFR 117.261(q): The draw
shall open on the hour and half hour except that the draw need not open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This authorization is effective from February 5, 2024, until August 31, 2025, and will assist with an anticipate increase in vehicle traffic across the Indiantown Road Bridge as a result of the removal and replacement of US1 Jupiter Federal Bridge. Once construction of US1 Jupiter Federal Bridge is complete, the
Indiantown Road Drawbridge will return to normal scheduled operations. Public vessels of the United States and vessels in distress shall be passed at any time. This Temporary Final Rule and associated documents are identified by docket number USCG-2023-0652 at https://www.regulations.gov.
